I own this bike since last 8 years. Had purchased this in year 2000 after lots of research done on all the 100+cc bikes. This was the best available option then, it's a 112cc bike. Still I am proud to own this model as it has served me best since last 8 years. Very low maintenance cost has occurred during these 8 years, yeah I used to get the servicing done atleast 2-3 times in a year but that costed me only Rs.300 for a year. Also I was regular in the oil change at every 3000 kms.

This bike has lovely looks, the styling is also the best & looks tough on road yet very professional in look. I mean you could even drive this bike wearing a 3-piece suit & even then it would suit the overall personality; rather wearing a suit & riding its next version'Pulsar' would look very funny, coz Pulsar suits only with casual looks, whereas riding Caliber would suit both casual as well as formal clothes. So I still wonder why Kawasaki Bajaj has stopped its production? Though the sale was good enough as soon as it was launched. Maybe the answer is that after introducing its successor "Pulsar", that became instant hit with its'manly' advertisements & hence the company shifted its entire focus on Pulsar rather then Caliber.

Previously I used to get an average of 60km/lt, but now even after 8 years of riding it gives me around 55km/lt of average which is quite good compared to its age & also no cost of maintenance occurred since its purchase. Overall I am still very happy with its performance & would like to tell the company to restart its production with same looks, just change the carburator so that average is improved which will help in getting a good market share from this version. At present there is no such model available in Bajaj bikes which can sport both formal as well as casual looks together! So Bajaj fellas, better start thinking about it.!
