I purchased a mobile phone through a promotional email sent to me by kaunsa.com which stated that it is a Samsung galaxy note 2. But immediately after my purchase I realized that it is some other brand and I tried to contact kaunsa.com for cancelling my order but could not reach any customer care no. Even the website stopped opening and the website did not exist at all. They have cheated and misled us. I read on the internet the flooded forums with the complaints of kaunsa.com.
According to their refund policy any client can cancel the order and get the refund within 30 days of the purchase. I want my money back as soon as possible. Now after contacting them many times they revert that they would be refunding my money after deducting some amount which seems senseless. They are-
5% of the amount + 400(shipping processing charges) = 700+200 = Rs. 900/-
So the refunded amount would be 13999-900=13099/-
This amount will be refunded back to you in 30-45 business days.
No this is what is totally different from their return and refund policy where nowhere this is mentioned at all. They just want to earn by hook or by crook.
Definitely I am going to take this matter to cyber crime department and send them a legal notice very soon.
