Kasol is a small town nestled in the beautiful Parvati valley with parvati river flowing alongside. While visiting Manali, I decided to take detour to Kasol which is around 75kms away from Manali. Kasol attracts many tourists from all over the world and also India due to obvious reasons. However, other than that, this place is surrounded by dense deodar forests and is a starting point for many small treks. One can do a 1 day trek to Grahan village from Kasol.
There is nothing much to do in Kasol other than taking a walk in forest, lying on the river bank or visiting Kasol's own hot springs. The Parvati river adds beauty to the Kasol. There are many restaurants in Kasol most of which serve Israeli food. The accommodation is very cheap and is suitable for budget traveller. Manikaran, a holy place, is also just 5 kms away from Kasol. Overall, a lovely place to relax and find your inner self.
