Story:

This rendition of Karna through the eyes of Uruvi is mind blowing and nostalgic. Karna is the greatest HERO to fight for EVIL.

This story of Karna has been communicated in the most brilliant manner outside of Shivaji Sawant's Mrityunjaya. The writing is beautiful and yet simple.

This is a wonderful book by Kavitha Kane that brings to the fore Karna as a human being. His evolution as a person who was rejected by everyone in his life, starting with his birth mother is brought out beautifully through the eyes of his wife Uruvi.

She rejects Arjuna in favour of Karna - an antithesis to what Draupadi does. He evolves as a person who is searching for an identity to a person who has found his place in life - though it is in the army of a doomed Durdhyodhana.

The feelings of the characters were so accurately described and the writing style is so nice that you can keep reading the book at a stretch without getting tired. You can read this book many times and still enjoy it.This is one of the best books on Karna. I recommend this book to everyone interested in mythology.
