I read extremely extra ordinary reviews on khnh at planetbollywood.com, filmfare.com and some other imp. filmi websites... the reviewrs praise the film to skies and gave comments that no hindi film ever acheived till date ... like
the best film ever made
films like that make the perception of silver screen entertainment totally change and miles forward .
khnh beats the hollywood quality and making style
complete flawless best film etc etc etc.
I watched the film and my expectations where too high due to those outclass praises..but alas the film was not that ''great'' as they mentioned. the introduction of charaters were not new, in the mega flop film of the year BOOM the same style was adopted in a much better manner with past pictures of the characters, so khnh's this aspect n treatment is not new... also the film copied the way of average film ''rules-pyar ka superhit formula'' in which various characters gave comments on various thoughts direct to audiances... infact that aspect was treated more cleverly and pleasently in RULES. again the 6 rules which SRK tell saif (6 din larki in) was stolen directly from RULES where the grandma tell her daughter 5 rules to make the guy inloved with her.... also the rules' content were ditto i.e the grandma advice her daughter to ignore the guy , and SRK did the same.... the reviewrs wrote that naina was a dull girl, but when I saw the film I feel no diference, only due to SRK NAINA get rid of her thick ''chashma'' ... but her mannerism, giggles and lively personality was same throughout the film... Also the reviewers said that the events taken str8 out of life and looks real... oh God that film was so unnatural due to the ''dadee'' and her singing women... many comic scenes were cheap and irritating... SRK's illness feel artificial and to be forced ... also unlike kkhh and k3g, this film contains many vulgar and double meaning words due to which one feel very awkrad when watching this socalled ''great'' and ''extra ordinary'' film with family ..sentences like
Mera h0le bohut bara hai.
is ki khulli daikh kar tum bhaag jao gaey
Mujhey ''cock'' (coke) do.... etc etc were very shameless
also the ''FEEL GAY'' scenes (kantaa been) look misfit in a family movie... this ''great'' film was no upto the standards of genuine family entertainers like kkhh and k3g... just due to the cast and hype this just good film is doing extra ordinary business... also I hate the biasness of the reviewrs ... they praise this film too much due to its freshness and treatment just bcoz of cast n hype.. but other films like joggers park and specially RULES were much better then this cocktail... but reviewrs under rate these superb films jut due to their low hype..pathetic. I would recommend KHNH if the reviewrs did justice , but due to ski-fi praises , one feel a bit disappointed ... overall not upto the standards of kkhh and my favourite K3G.
