Hey guys today I am goin to post a review on my all brand new KTM Duke200's exprinces.

No doubtedly KTM Duke 200 has been one of the ultimate motorcycles in recent times.Truly design, power, features, and from each and every angle, the machine is a fresh piece.Even though, the Duke 200 is a kind of its own in the class infact there are many reasons why one should not go for it. You might be feeling like – oh! This guy was praising the bike so far and now insisting not to buy the stuff. guys, apologies in advance

Some of the main reasons which really bothering me are:-

  1. Over Priced-Yep! It’s. The price gets bounced periodically. And now it has crossed even Rs. 1.55 lakh mark, which is on road price.

  2. Lack of quality assurance-Automobiles are checked up before delivery to make sure that they won’t be a burden for the user who buys only after ‘paying’ the maker. But, if it doesn’t meet that kind of standard, what should be done? Nothing, but customers can go helpless. And it has happened with many Duke 200 owners, especially with the battery. The battery stops working even after a week of purchase. Can this happen for a costly bike?

  3. Uneconomical-Of course, the Duke 200 is badly expensive. I would like to recommend you to keep a petrol pump to wherever you wander!

  4. No resale value at all-In India, if you wanna sell out you 2-3 months old Duke 200, you can get a maximum 0f 80-90k for a 155k bought motorcycle. Pathetic, isn’t it?

  5. The ultimate machine of accidents-So far it was pulsar in the lead. Now seems like the Duke 200 is in the driving seat. Many accidents have been reported till date, which certainly includes death counts as well! Don’t know whether it’s the problem of riders or maker? It’s still left as a mystery! I really wished if someone like Sherlock Holmes could take care of that case!

  6. Limited service stations-You can hardly find service stations all over India. It’s limited to certain cities. So if you wanna repair your machine after an unexpected breakdown or something, and if there is no authorized service centers nearby, oh dear make sure that you booked an air ticket to parcel your machine!

Thank God, DHL, Blue Dart, FexEx, and DTDC are all here!

  1. Unbearable maintenance cost-If you’re offered with less in mileage, you have one more reason not buy this machine. And that’s its high maintenance charge. High is the amount you need to pick up from the wallet after every service. There is no point in reminding that the Duke 200’s spare parts are highly expensive as you all guys know it well.

  2. Headlight issue-Sometimes, the headlight has its own mind. It doesn’t work properly. Yep! It also needs a guy to fix it.

  3. Battery -Although I have mentioned the battery issue, I would like to elaborate it more here as it’s a wonderful opportunity to me to criticize KTM like never before. Battery problem has been reported by many owners. Some have faced the problem within a week of delivery. And few have stuck with even the replaced battery.

  4. Over heat -This 200cc engine pulls out warm breezes even after clocking a 10 km ride.

  5. Bad experience in service centre

KTM doesn’t have enough number of service centers in the country. And imagine how it will be if the experience you are offered from the service centre is really bad? Miserable, isn’t it?

  1. Alloy wheels -Reliability matters. As you know Indian roads are just like off-roading. Humps and dips are just usual here. The machine you drive should have the reliability at least to survive the road. Bt, when you find your machine’s wheel broken after riding over a dip in the road, what you gonna feel? Should this happen for an expensive machine like this? Really weird, isn’t it?
