The duke series in KTM is for people wanting street fighter look. KTM duke 200 is a practical machine which can be used in day to day life, unlike its faired sibling rc200. It possess a 199cc liquid cooled engine.
The thing which I liked the most is its short gearing, power and flick ability. It gave me a milage of 38 kmpl in highway. it is light weight and easy to drive bike. It has most advanced instrument cluster which gives useful information like average consumption, distance to empty, distance to service, etc.
It has stiff suspension, which I didn't like. As it is India, we have lots of pot holes and speed breakers. The engine also gets a little hot when riding in heavy traffic. All in all a good daily commuter motor bike with good performance.
