Hi . We have been to Mysore-Ooty-Doddabetta package tour with family on Jan8-2016.
we had horrible experience.
Guide was not supportive. We were aware of only Kannada and English but Guide was keep speaking in Hindi even after multiple requests.
There was no time sense at all. For important pilgrimiage temple like Nanjangud we were given only 20 minutes where as for Philomena church bus was halted for 75 mins for no reason.
We were taken to hotel for close to Gundlupet for breakfast. Food was very expensive and very cheap quality. Most of us preferred Idle/chutney and immediately after consuming this food my parents/kids started facing stomach pain/upset. After reaching Ooty we went to Medical store to take some medicines. We complained to Guide and he had no patience to listen to us
Bad part of this - Even during return from Ooty, guide stopped bus for lunch same hotel.
Even guide collected extra 20/- as service charge for getting entry tickets for Palace and Brindavan gardens. For me it costed 11x20= 220 rupees extra:(
Even in the hotels hot water facility was not there when we requested hotel authorities were not listening to us as if they have given room for free of cost. However, after arguing with them hot water was supplied.
At many times my family members were saying lets return back to Bangalore because guide not supporting nor listening to us.
Only good part was - Bus was in good condition with good seats as well.
