Always the bus departs late from Koyambedu in Chennai, and rash driving at early morning to reach destination on time. If your destination is anywhere between the boarding and destination of the particular bus, you will always be dropped at highways(not in bus stand or kpn office at destination). Driver and conductor are useless when enquiring about the destination drop point of passengers(even if they are senior citizens).
Had a very very bad experience recently, when travelling from Chennai to virudhunagar(pin 12639901) in feb 2013. It was a Thirunelveli destination bus from Chennai. They started 1 hour late from Koyambedu at 10 pm. Rash driving at early morning, and when it reached virudhunagar, I asked them to drop me at bus stand, but driver replied rudely saying " we will drop at bypass only', When I said them that I will complain to KPN office, they said it wont do them anything and I was pushed out at a highway on a early morning where there is no commute available(no auto, no Govt. bus stop) to reach bus stand from there. I simply walked 2 kilometres to reach bus stand from bypass road. I was thinking, " why the he** did I book ticket upto virudhunagar when they won't drop me at correct destination?"
The suffering here is, I booked ticket upto my destination, but driver never dropped me at the correct destination point(bus stand of the destination town).
