Tu Hai Meri Kiran . Review on Juhi Chawla

Born on 13th November 1967, Ludhiana, Punjab, Juhi Chawla bagged the femina Miss India title (1984), married to Jay Mehta, a millionaire industrialist in India and have one daughter and son. Mansoor Khan directorial debut Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak went onto create box-office history and a star was born. Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla were heralded as the hottest romantic pair at the box-office. Together they went on to do films like Tum Mere Ho and Love Love Love. But unfortunately these films couldn't live up to the audience’s expectations.

After doing eminently forgettable films like CID, Shaandaar, and Goonj, Radha Ka Sangam, Juhi Chawla hit the hotspot with Dharmesh Darshan's Lootere. A song on the beach in just a plain white shirt was enough for her to be labelled hot. Her second innings in Bollywood had begun. A series of hits like Bol Radha Bol, Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman shot her into the big league instantly. Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke got her the popular Filmfare trophy for the Best actress. And her next invitation was to star in Yash Chopra's Darr.

Since most stars regard the summons from Yash Chopra as a badge of honours, as valid as an award, Juhi Chawla had finally arrived. The movie's success pitched her as contender to Madhuri Dixit's No.1 title. Suddenly she was being spoken in the same league as Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit. Anyway, I think Juhi’s one of the hottest chicks in the world and well. She is my fav actress, I love her voice. Juhi and Aamir are a damn sweet and cute, that’s coz they’ve done them kind of films, they’ve not needed to make fake orgasmic faces or rain drenched songs to get people to notice them.

It a pleasure watching her on screen, Yes Juhi is the sweetest person ever, but she’s looked hot with many other actors like, Sunny/Akshay/SRK there is no one like Juhi no one can be so. SWEET, INNOCENT, GRACEFULL, BEAUTIFULL, ELAGANT and ADORABLE Juhi’s got nicer curves, her sex appeal is stronger, she’s definitely more talented and versatile, she oozes more sensuality. It must be said that the the best working actress in India is Juhi Chawla. She is simply perfect in every role she enacts, whether it’s a touching guest appearance as in ’Paheli’ or a full-fledged dramatic tour de force in ’My Brother Nikhil’.

She has matured. Top 5 fav Juhi performances Aaina, Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke, Bol Radha Bol, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and 3 Deewarein. She’s extremely underrated as an actress. She has the most infectious smile and I respect her decision to continue to work after marriage and kids. In fact, she’s being experimental now and doing some great films. But Yeah I loved her in Arjun Pandit and those evil eyes uuf maar dala, I wanna see her opp. Aamir. uuuf these film-makers enjoys torturing me.

However, my all time favourite is Juhi Chawla and I feel nobody will ever be able to match up to her. I also think she never really had a film in her career that showed her full potential. Also, out of all the 90's actresses she is the only one still releasing films in a continous pace today, eg. Teen Deewarein, Jhankaar Beats, My Brother Nikhil, Sade Saat Phere, Paheli, Des Hoyaa Pardes.
