Josh. Review on Josh - TV Serial

Hello friends, I am not a regular audience for Teleserials, but I liked the approach of the serial Josh on Star Plus, every friday night. Though there is nothig much great about the Storyline, the picturisation of the serial is surely an advancement in the Teleserial fraternity. Though the framework has been influneced from our typical Hindi movies, the presentation is a bit fresh and appealing as compared to other TV serials in the same categories. Salil Ankola, who plays the lead role is a refreshing experience. He has really worked on his looks, physique and acting...which has improved a lot as compared to his previous appearances. He has perfornmed the action scenes also remarkably good. But the serial still lacks in lot of areas..... 1. The dialogues and the script is weak and fails to creat the overhyped excitement that the producers claim ! 2. The action scenes are well thought but not well executed....in the last episode when Salil Ankola jumps with a small child when there is an explosion, even a small kid could point out that the kid is actually a Dummy (doll)...this is really disappointing ! 3. The director had tried to bring some glamour to the serial, but he looks to be stuck up between a film and a serial and goes neitherways ! Overall, Josh is better than those typical SAAS-BAHU and SINDOOR, PATI-PATNI AUR WOH.....kind of serials but definitely not better than its counterpart......CID telecast on SONY TELEVISON !
