We started using Johnsons No More Tears Baby Shampoo when our son was born. Johnsons has been a trusted name in baby products for years so we had no reservations at all about using this product.
A newborn's skin is very delicate and so are their eyes. You would not want to use a product that could potentially irritate their skin or eyes. This product is very gently on baby's delicate areas yes cleans their hair very well. It also rinses of easily and quickly.
As the baby gets older it is nearly impossible to get them to sit still in the tub to wash their hair so the soap and water end up getting everywhere. It is nearly impossible to wash their hair without some of the soap running down their face no matter how hard you try. This is where the no tears part helps the most. You can wash and rinse their hair and not worry if some runs down their face because the soap is so gently it will not irritate their eyes which makes bath time a lot easier on both baby and the person giving the bath.
The scent of the soap is soft and clean smelling. Kids get into so much dirt that it is great when they are fresh and clean smelling!
The price of this product is average. A couple of dollars for a bottle that will last a long time. Of course for a product that works well and does what it claims we would pay far more.
If you have an infant or toddler I highly recommend Johnsons No More Tears Shampoo. It is easy to use, works great and smells great. And when it doesn't irritate your baby's skin or eyes they will thank you!
