Jillunnu oru kaadhal is not a movie I would actually love to watch or would like. and the music tracks wouldnt also be a fascination for me. but bear me as I say this review rating goes to a single song in the album ...munbe vaa.
Everyone of us somewhere deep inside has that romantic diva hidden who mostly lies hidden(i dont know why though)...but as far as I am concerned I am die hard romantic... and finds the best in anything.... be it nature or a piece of genuine art. Munbe vaa is a song that would be irresistible for such a person. The song is composed my the music maestro... A.R rahman and sung by shreya Goshal who by the way won the best singer national award for this track..... This is one silky smooth track that soothes your mind and makes you lose yourself in it.
The movie came out when I was doing my college. I was a fresher and so had nothing much of a relationship happening.But this was one song that made me wanna have someone to hold on to everytime I heard it. you wish you were in love...you wish there would be someone whom you could hold hands with or someone whom you can just sit together and silently communicate with.....
The video is so beautiful that the song is never complete without it. Each and every scene is a real love story. I loved everything the one in which he blows the kiss to bhoomika, the one where they walk together,the coffee episode.... the one where he goes into her classroom and pulls her out...a lot of them... seriously I used to sit on the college patio and wonder about that song.... everytime I thought about it , I would get all tipsy that if anyone propossed to me at that moment I would have said yes..... lolz.....
If you have never heard this song...give it a try.... it is one song that you will never forget..
the lyrics are also so meaningful..... the way she asks her to come before her or I especially like the lines... "naan naana keette enne naane.... naan neeya nenjam sonnathe.:" never thought about something like that but I guess that is true when someone is in love.... madly in love..... and also the line poovaithai poovaithainee poovaikkoar poovaithai
