Normally I am very harsh on mouthshut.com.
But I must admit I am really really impressed with Jet Airways.
I first travelled Jet Airways in 1995 and the experience was like a current of fresh air.
Since then I have travelled frequently on the airline.
One instance was when I travelled to India in Summer 2003.
I was taking an international airline and then a connecting Jet Airways flight.
I bought my tickets in the US (they have an office and a toll-free number in the US).
I did not get the tickets to save the courier cost.
When I landed in Kolkata they had my ticket ready for pick-up.
They even have the facility of unlimited changes/ cancellation without any penalty, which took care of the eventuality that I missed the flight.
The in-flight service was great (as usual).
I was experiencing a severe jet-lag and they helped me out.
I have travelled Jet, IA, Sahara, AA, BA, KLM and Lufthansa.
And I can vouch that Jet Airways is the BEST airline.
I just hope they start flying to the U.S.
I would readiy cough out couple of hundred extra bucks to travel Jet.
Air India- are you listening ?
