She's ugly, she's clumsy, she's messy, she daydreams but...
She is intelligent????????...well, can you believe this? Atleast, I can't!!
Let's start from the beginning...let's review the story first and then the show.
Jasmeet Walia aka Jassi is again a middle class girl with bad looks, heavy spects, wears aweful dresses but, she is different because she is intelligent but ugly or to say that even after being ugly, she is intelligent and so much that her boss can't do a moment without her...reason? She gives some tips as common as like where to get a loan from, where to sign and how to be a liar!! This is Jasmeet, dearly called Jassi...
Armaan Sir, who has lied to the board, lied to her fiance`, lied to his designer...and can lie to anyone. Always surrounded by girls, he is pretending to love Mallika; her fiance`. An unsuccessful chairman, he often finds his relief in her PA, Jassi.
JJKN is basically a story of Armaan and Jassi. Jassi is ugly but she is a genius(a genius who mess up things like a retarded!!)...she gets a job in Gulmohur, a leading brand in fashion and accessories. She impresses Armaan so much that he sets up a backup company with Jassi as the owner...but Mallika hates her because Armaan doesn't! Now, after some time...Jassi falls in love with Armaan for god know what reason but sadly, she is given the responsibilty of arranging Mallika and Armaan's engagement and she does it sooooo superbly that even party designers are forgotten...
This is the nutshell of the story. Coming on to the show, what I absolutely dislike about this serial is that director should decide what to make!! It sometimes seems a sitcom with funny and irritating dialogues and sometimes, a serious drama with emotions in it...till now, it has made no sense!! Secondly, there are so many on-going tracks in it...phew. It's Armaan-Jassi, Jassi-Gang, Armaan-Mallika, Mallika-Pari, Armaan-Raj, Raj-Pari, Bindiya and her husband, Jassi-Nandu, Jassi-family, Nandu-Cheshtha, Nandu-Jassi's father, Jassi-Bebe, Mallika-Maddy, Jassi-Maddy, Maria-some friend, Armaan-Purushottam, Raj-Jassi, Pari-Nandu...god, the list is endless!!!
Then it's a damn unrealistic show, not making a sense that why a young girl like Jassi would wear so heavy spects? I myself wear spects but have never wore one like her's!! Then, as she has a conservative family then why not wear suits with different patterns and designs...be it full-sleeve. Thirdly, why Jassi doesn't wear her hair properly? Why doesn't she keep herself nicely? Not everyone is beautiful but does that mean that every ordinary or less than ordinary looking girl would have to look as a bad as Jassi???!! Or wearing spects means to look clumsy? There are so many questions to which there are no answers.
JJKN is a much hyped show with no solid input and a nonsense story especially when now, the show's focus has been shifted more to Jassi's class than her beauty...
I agree with the title...Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin!!
