I got a chance to visit this place last year with my friends on the occasion of World Heritage Day as it was free to visit this day.
though I am an engineering student and I have heard a lot about it that it has so many amazing instruments to see if you belong to science background. so I had an urge to see it.
but when I visited there I couldn't understand anything as there was no details mentioned about the instruments over there. for me it was just long walls and giant stones.
I saw some people came there with guide and the guide was explaining little bit about the instruments but I don't think that they understood what the functions of the instruments were.
I tried to understand a lot but couldn't understand anything, even the numbers written on the instruments are also in HIndi form not in Mathematics form(like 1, 2, 3).
truely if you are going there with a guide you may find some useful information other wise I won't recommend you to go there to learn something as you won't learn anything by yourself.
