I use this website, because I have no other option. I study in college about 800 kms from my home town, so every vacations I have to book to tickets on IRCTC. Best part of the website is that, now I dont have to stand in queue anymore.
Anothsr good thing is that, I can see seat availability from home itself. But the worst part of the website is that, it has lots of limitations. I cannot check seat availability in different trains between stations, in not more than 6-8 trains at a time.Just because everytime I try for more it asks me to login again. Another problem is that, only two tickets can be booked on a proxy address.
That means, in my university Only 2 out of 4000 students can book a tatkal ticket, how idiotic rule is that. Its a government website, thousands and lakhs of people use it daily but still, it doesnt has payment options for all the banks.My online experience using this website used to be fine. But with increaed no of rules like this, It just sucks.
