This is a good mobile at this price range . . The following are the pros and cons of Intex Aqua Ring :
Pros : 1. Low Price - in 4k rupees we are getting a complete package. Very well balanced spec. Great VFM .
HD display - Great display quality.As good as any other 7k rupees mobiles like redmi 2 prime, meizu m2, lenovo vibe k5.
Android M - It helps maintain smoothness . Web browsing and overall software experience is satisfactory.
battery : 2450mAH is good. It can easily last 1. Whole day on moderate usage. Full Charging time is around 120 mins. Screen on time is around 4 hours. I think at this price we cannot expect more.
Camera : Both front and back cameras are HDR supported. Front selfie camera is very good for the price we pay. Back camera is not good.
Multi Indian languages are supported.
We get a back case and screen guard free.
Free ear piece .
Emergency rescue app + radio app.
Good network reception on airtel 3g ( I have not tried any other sim .)
Sandstone back cover is really cool for the price we pay.
Two sim card ( one micro + one standard) + one micro SD card canbe used.
Excellent gaming performance - it can run asphalt 8 on medium resolution without lag. Even on high resolution it performs well but there is minor lag. Temple run 2 can be played without any problem. Overall I am extremely happy with its gaming performance.
Though it has only 1GB RAM, but it performs really well. Intact I could not distinguish its performance with that if redmi 2 prime or meizu m2.
GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi hotspot , etc . everything works great. I do not feel like using a cheap 4000 rupees mobile.
Dragontail glass protection.
Almost stock android experience.
Facebook, amazon, Ola cab, pocket by icici, irctc, gmaps, gmail, chrome, youtube , etc . all the apps work very well on it. I never miss my primary device .
Ring design on the back looks cool.
Cons : 1. Poor back camera. It is of no use.
It gets warm sometimes . in my case max temp, I saw was 40 degrees. I think it is acceptable. But it does not heat like many people complain. May be they got defective product.
No USB otg supported.
No 4g support.
Touch is not as smooth as I expected.but still it does the job well.
Some apps like T20 cricket can not be uninstalled.
When we use it heavily continuously for 3-4 hours, touch starts lagging a bit.
Speakers are at the back.
9 . Out of .98 GB RAM , only 350MB was free on 1st boot. But still it performs well.
Internal storage was only 3.8 GB free out of 8GB after first boot. But it supports micro SD.
Weight is on the higher side.
No LED notification light.
