The phone I ordered found defective. I bought Motorola DEFY+ from Infibeam.com on 20th of march 2012. My order was shipped two days later and it reached on 24th. Took 4 days, pretty descent. The package was good. No damage to the phone box. It contained what I thought was a bill and my phone box.


But some how the phone I received had a defect. So I called up the customtakeouter Support and informed about it. They took my complain and requested me to visit the nearest serve center. For safe being I also sent a mail to customtakeouterservice@infibeam.net and cs-excellence@infibeam.com.


Service center guys informed me that the bill I produced is not a proper one so I once again had to contact the customtakeouter care guys for the bill. After 3 hour they sent me my proper bill via e-mail and service center address. As I have it now, I will once again visit Motorola service center and give it a try tomorrow.

Today I visited the service center. They didnt accepted the Duplicate Invoice provided by infibeam.com.


I once again had to contact customtakeouter care and had to request a Invoice with out 'duplicate' mentioned on it. I don't know why this guys didn't mentioned IMEI or serial no on my Invoice if this is what going to be my bill proof of my purchase.


I received the Invoice within 15 min. The service center guy was still not satisfied but took my mobile for service. They asked to call tomorrow.

Today I receded call from Motorola service center that they will not replace my phone according to the policy which I am not clear. Have to visit them personally. I never knew that shopping online could be so painful. I usually shop online because of lack of time and reasonable price. but now I am paying for it.


I called up Infibean and informed them about Motorola service guys not replacing my phone. I asked them to proceed with my product replacement complying to the 30 day replacement policy. They told me that they have took my complain and can expect a reply in next 48 hr.

Today I received a call from Infibeam.com . They told me that they have started the procedure for replacing my phone and sent a pick up boy. Since my phone was with Motorola service center I didn't able to return my phone today. I requested them to sent the pickup boy tomorrow and to this they agreed. I hope this chapter will get close soon. I do appreciate the quick response from Infibeam.com customtakeouter support team.

Today a guy from infibeam picked up my phone directly from home. I ws expecting a courier boy when he gave me his card, it seems he is a normal staff and not a pickup boy looking after my phone replacement. Its great that Infibeam is giving personal interest on customtakeouter satisfaction. I hope my phone will be replaced soon and will have my phone before this week ends.

when they called me on Friday they told me that they are replacing my order on urgent basis. But today when I called them up their customtakeouter support says that it will take more than a week. Even their online portal says' Pickup Arranged' while they have already picked up my order on Saturday.


Today another another person came from Infibeam.com for a pickup and when I called the customtakeouter support, they had no clue about who picked up my package on Saturday. What is happening. Please some one give me an explanation.

They didn't called me back. I did a phone call to the guy who picked up my phone. The guy gave me a phone number of Infibeam's Mumbai warehouse. The guy from there told me they got my phone and they have updated their Delhi office about the same and you will receive your phone soon. when I asked him to commit a date he tole me he will call me back in the evening. But I didn't received any call. But in the evening again I had another call asking about who took the phone on Saturday.


They are totally confused and have no coordination . This is totally in-professional. They don't even call back as promised and I have to call them which is putting hole in my pocket.

Today they reshipped my phone saying that it was a minor issue and has been rectified with a software upgrade. But even a not so tech person could guess that a problem with touch screen could not be a software one. I dont know what type of people work in Infallible. The first thing I did after receiving is it tested it thoroughly. I found that the problem still persisted and I returned the phone back to the guy who delivered the phone.


This is the limit. I have lost my patience . I demand a quick resolution or I need my money back.


Evening I received a phone call from Infibeam operation manager. He told me that he is personally looking into this problem and the phone is already been shipped. Package may reach tomorrow or definitely day after tomorrow. I hope this time every thing will be fine and smooth.

Around 12 o clock a guy from Bluedart delivered my phone. Impressive. Delivered within 24 hr. I checked the phone thoroughly and everything seems fine. Thanks to Infibeam for replacing my phone. I made them to send me the bill of purchase with this new phone's IMEI no.


It do not hold Infibeam completely responsible for the problems I had to face. Such tings do happen even when we purchase electronic product directly from market. In such case the product get replaced a bit sooner. Even Infibeam could have done a good job if the Motorola guys didn't refused to replace my phone. My phone could have replaced a bit earlier if they have called me up to ask the detail of the defect.


At last I have my first Android phone and I am loving it.
