Subject: Order No. 10618052 dt. 21st April 2013.

Two shipments (sub-orders) of books were sent to me by Infibeam through ARAMEX, as follows:

Shipper Reference IBDELMAH265506, Shipment No.4659319593 dt. 23rd April 2013

Shipper Reference IBDELMAH272385, Shipment No.4659321074 dt. 27th April 2013

None of these consignments have been delivered to me, as on 7th May 2013, 10.20 am. However, ARAMEX tracking records indicate that the first shipment was delivered to me on 29 April 2013 and second shipment was delivered to me on 30th May 2013!!

Since booking, Aramex tracking records showed that the consignments were moved around in various locations of Delhi / Gurgaon, for several days and then “was out for delivery”, again for several days from Kolkata Airport Office. After a flurry of complaints from my side to both Infibeam and Aramex, the fraudulent delivery suddenly appeared in the tracking records. There is no tracking record as to when the consignments reached Ranchi (the actual delivery destination). Last known existence of these consignments were at Kolkata Airport Office of Aramex.

I had also requested that Aramex should notify me when the shipment was delivered, but obviously, no such notification was given, either by sms or mail.

I also complained to Aramex vide Case Reference:CCU/0413/2003. No result.

I am helpless as to whom to turn to now.. Aramex, which fraudulently claims that the consignments have been delivered at Kolkata(!!!), or Infibeam, which continues to maintain a studious silence.

I may add that 2 other sub-orders, of the same order, which Infibeam sent through FEDEX reached me without hassle or delay. Couriers can make or break online portals, and that is why many online shopping portals have started maintaining their own courier services.
