I bought a Samsung 20 ltr Solo microwave oven paying in full with credit card on 13th Apr
Then started my misery
I had to remind them to ship it on 16th Apr. It left Delhi 16th evening.
Infibeam Logistics passed it to Gati Courier. It reached Bhiwandi warehouse on 19th Apr at 6 AM
Thereafter, shockingly, it remained there. I called Gati KWE 2 times and Infibeam 4 times, Each time the answer was "we will get back to you". They even accused me of lying, that they have called back as per their records! But no, not a single call back, no missed call either. No call centre executive ever gave me a status update, just, "we will get back to you".
I lodged 2 complaints by email. Not a single email reply or SMS throughout my ordeal!
Horrible Customer Care or rather "don't care"
On each occasion, the call centre executives refused to transfer call to any supervisor or manager saying there is no one in the call centre! Now who's lying?
Each call was costing me huge money as it is a Ahmadabad STD number and they put you on 10-15 minutes hold each time! Pathetic company doesn't even have a 1800- or 1860- call centre number!
Finally, on 2nd May, I disgustedly cancelled the order.
Guess what, as per the Infibeam policy, you won't get refund until that item reaches back to them! Now if Infibeam logistics was any good, I would've received the item in the first place. they didnt deliver for full 19 days after taking my money and then shamelessly making customer suffer by blocking refund because of their own inefficiency.
Thank God, I didn't buy another microwave immediately, because on 7th May, almost 1 month after the order, and full 5 days after cancelling the order, the microwave was delivered to my residence!
I'm so disgusted with this whole experience that I haven't used the item yet. So not assessing it.
But do yourself a favour . don't buy from I-N-F-I-B-E-A-M. Absolute fraud company. I had some silly ideas of buying from indian company from PM's Gujarat - won't make such mistake again. Go for eBay or Amazon instead . international companies, great service.
