I had an harrowing experience Indigo airlines on Jan 22nd 2012.I was suppose to fly from Bangalore to Bhubaneswar and the flight departure time was 6.50 a.m.There was heavy fog in the early morning and I reached the check in counter at exactly 6.10 a.m.
I was very rudely denied boarding and the reason given as I am late by 5 Mins.The late was not due to me starting late but due to very poor visibility because of fog. How any one can have control over nature !!!But my request fell into deaf ears and I had to take the Jet airways flight next day. There was also no refund made on the ticket and no help in rescheduling either. I am a frequent flyer and definitely know the rules of checking in before 45 mins but there are exceptions right.
I would suggest you to never fly Indigo if you have any other option.!! Say no to indigo !! The ground staff need to learn some manners and behave with customer.
