Dear All,
Mr. Sudhir Pradhan who is the COO-East, of Idea Cellular Limited, was travelling from Kol-Mumbai-Kol for the dates 15th July and return 18th July, 2011.
Mr. Pradhan normally takes the evening flight to Mumbai and the first flight from Mumbai by Indigo. He did his booking through the Indigo portal and he chose the flights 6@ 322 and 6E 319 rRajeev_Vermactively.
As Mr. Pradhan did the booking he received the SMS giving the flight details Indigo PNR nos is IEJ2AN – 6E322 15th JulCCUBOM 1725/2005 and 6E319 18Jul BOMCCU 0745/1035.
Normally everybody carries blackberry and they check-in rRajeev_Vermactively. On 17th evening, his daughter checked him in the flight with the PNR number from the return journey Mum-Kol.
When he reached the Airport on 18th July, 2011, he was informed by the official that Sir your booking is there for the evening…my Boss showed the SMS that he had booked for the morning flight.
He had no other options, as he had to come to join office, he paid the difference and boarded the flight.
Mr. Pradhan was aghast that how come a flight he booked for the morning flight becomes an evening flight.
The point is:
6E319 is the first flight for Indigo Mum-Kol. So noway he is going to book the evening flight
When you book on the Net, the SMS comes immediately.the SMS was for 6E319 and I don’t think the flight print would be 6E 325.
My request is that, please look into the matter as I have related the incident above and also the series of mail which has been exchanged between your customtakeouter service wherein they have told us directly to drop the matter. My boss as a customtakeouter is appealing to you that there was a mistake on Indigo’s part which can happen but when you deny the same it is very unprofessional.
Please look into the matter and revert to us on the same. This has been pending for quite some time.
