I have been regularly travelling by Indigo for the past 10 years. I have used Indigo services for pan India travel. Recently I traveled from Pune to Chennai(6E302)& back(6E311) by Indigo.The flight was on time. Flight attendants are well groomed & polite. Arrival at Chennai was also ahead of time by 30 mins. This was promptly announced before landing
The return flight departure was delayed by 5 mins but the landing was further delayed by 20 mins. There was no announcement during the entire flight about the delay & the reason. When things are in favor it is announced but delays are kept under the carpet. The passengers are taken for granted.
Also once I had the experience of getting my checked in baggage with the lock broken on arrival. On complaining to the Indigo staff at the airport they only showed their helplessness. It was a case of baggage mishandling . So during my recent flight to Chennai I requested at the check in counter to take care so that locks are not broken. The response I got was ridiculous. The staff blamed the conveyor belt for this. My question would be baggage damage should happen for all baggage if it is due to conveyor.
Indigo is today the leading airline so they should take extra efforts for customer care. If such a casual approach continues they will stand to not only loose customers but also the tag of being the leading airline in India.
