Indigo-the worst. Review on Indigo Airlines

I just had the worst journey of my entire life. A month has passed and still the shock hasnt. I dread the thought of traveling by flight. All thanks to Indigo for that. January 2017, I had to travel to Kerala from Delhi with my 6 month old baby and my mom who is old. Our flight was at 6.25am. We reached at 5.15. There was a huge rush, and we passed the queue and reached the counter at 5.30. The guy said you have only 10 minutes to reach the gate before it closes. So he couldnt issue the pass. I was sure I could reach in 5 minutes if the queue could be skipped. With a small baby and my mom, I wish some1 from Indigo could have helped us pass the security check queue.why and how would that happen? This is how the flight gets its undeserved money rt. giving cheap tickets and taking huge fines and unworthy charges from poor customers.The senseless guy at the counter said we could go to the next counter and take tickets for the next flight which was at 11am. I asked him should we pay extra?. He sed it would just be a small amount. When we went to the next counter there was a long queue there too. people who were swiping and taking tickets for later flights. the lady checked everything and said to pay 36000 and she could book seats for 1pm connecting flight as the 11am direct one is full.( as we had booked the tickets many months back, the whole actual charge of the original tickets for 2 of us and baby was rs.12800.) Even though we were shocked, many things revolved through my mind. the relatives who came to pick us would be waiting at the destination. We had a function the next day. WE WERE stuck. There was no other go. So booked tickets for 1pm flight. around 11.30am got to know that the flight is delayed by an hour. Ok. In an hour it got delayed by 45mins. Ok again. we were already tired to fight. I was disheartened looking at my tired baby and diabetic mom. Atlast we were able to board the flight by 4pm. reached chennai in 2 hours 40 minutes. waiting time in chennai was 2 hours. Had dinner and to our shock came to know that the chennai-kochi flight has been delayed by 20 mins. And when we were standing in the queue at the gate, again they anounced that there was an hour's delay.!. The delay anouncements went on and on. in short, around 11 we boarded the flight. reached kochi by 12am.and we have a 4 hour journey home from cochin airport. reached home early morning almost dead. I can never forget the journey in my life because that much we suffered. And never again in this lifetime will I fly in indigo. All the best indigo for your future deception. Much more money you can earn like this.
