I have traveled from Mumbai to Baroda on 29th Jan 2012 through Indigo Airlines flight (6E482) at 8.25 in Morning immediate after a long overseas travel. In-spite of informing the crew that luggage is fragile and can break instantly if not taken care, luggage was handled by Indigo Airlines in a careless manner.
I lost items worth$100 as the brittle goods got crushed in the checked in baggage. Also though complained on web, I have not received any response even from Indigo Airlines. I would recommend that either do not travel through Indigo if you have luggage which is precious and costly, or if you happen to travel through Indigo Airlines, do not regret for the losses.
It is really disappointing and disheartening that in-spite of Indigo Airlines crew acknowledging the goods to be fragile while checking in the luggage, no action is taken nor a response is given to the customer complaint.
