I cancelled a ticket with Indigo Airlines a month back. The mode of payment was Net Banking. They said the money will be in my account in 8-10 days. But a month have passed and nothing came.
What is more important, they are playing a devious tick. The call center guy say that the money has been refunded already, but due to my banks fault it has not reached me. In this case, I was asking for the Transaction ID so that I can follow up with the bank regarding the transaction.
During my first call to the call center they said that they are taking a request to retrieve the Transaction ID and I can call up in 2 days and get the ID. All right.
During my second call 2 days later, they said no such requests for retrieving the Transaction ID was filled and they are taking the request to generate one now. I was still convinced. All right.
During my third call 2 days later, they again said that no such requests for retrieving the Transaction ID was filled and they are taking the request to generate one now. Tell me now, this is not all right. They are just tricking me off every time I am asking for the money.
Had they transferred the money, they would surely have had the Transaction ID. The money is still not refunded.
Do anybody have similar experience? Can you please guide me on how to teach those guys a lesson and get my money back?
