I flew recently from Delhi to Bangalore with Indigo...
When I booked indigo I tought its really might be good ...
eh the day I asked to reschedule my journey to the next day I was told :
600/- for the change and rest of amount for the diff in air fare! and if I happen to cancel my travel 600/- charge and I will get a credit note to use for only booking indigo flights and validity is one year..
There was no way for me... I had to postpone.. I did so...
well... it was the time of check-in where I found a MESS....
Though I happen to carry in my cabin luggage shaving ceram and stuffs... I was asked to throw the same in dust bin while coming back! and the way they handled my mobile was very careless... some one was waiting at check-in to search her mobile which went in scanner just a min back!!!!
Non professional check-in process....
welll after to wait for the boarding bus was boring... nothing was interesting enough in the air port... (at the check-in door of Indigo) no magazines nothing!!!! just two TV's with Ads!
finally when the boarding announcements were made - it looked/ seems like was a local telephone announcement! non-professional way to announce and was careless.... in the tone
when I got to the bus.... eh!!! it was only one BUS to carry many people (no seats!) no space for people to stand appropriately... it seemed no better than a LOCAL BUS!!!! such a rush and harassed kind of situation.... (no A/C... all people were breathing over each-other's shoulders!).. MAN does any one expect such a situation in DELHI airport, specific to Indigo?
Though reached to my flight.... (indigo) the presentability was poor.... when just got inside... there was no space to atleast drag my luggage!!!! people were coming from bothsides... crossing over each other ... much similar to local bus.... ehhh such a idiotic planning... nothing looked systematic....
when looked at the chairs all seemed like a chair infirior to Hair cut saloon chairs!!!!!! eeeeek :((
when about to keep luggage people were hapazardly keeping luggage wherever they find place!!! nothing seemed logical nothing professional....
when seated it has very little space to stretch legs chair does not even bend appropriately back wards!
ah! here the flight starts.... and the announcement seemed like OLD CRACKLING RADIO voice....
"this is cuptaan of indigo.... mann give me a break! it was typical local accent..... guess they saved on accent / voice training!"
the flight was moving like a local bus... :)) with noisy windows....
the window started becoming noisy when it was about to take off.... I was praying to GOD...
" HOPE I ATLEAST REACH MY HOME "
I had cold so I asked the attendant before hand to give me a bottle of hot water and cotton buds...
>> reply: sit we dont have cotton buds but I will bring water" :))
I was looking for some magazines... errr its a dream! no magazine.... guess they think they will fly me to BLR in no time!
no sign of entertainment! I asked for candies.... (they were so kanjoooooooooos) brought only two candies! :))
any way... here comes the attendent and gives bottle of water I ask for Break fast! I was told...
"in couple of mins sir!"

two attendents were coming around with a trolly ... It seemed interesting to me..... I took a look....
found that they were SELLING biscuits and cookies :)) hahaha
typical like a local train chai wala :) in this accent:" Sir.. Biscuits... Cookies? chips? 20/- for this one! " :))))))
I would have rolled on the floor LAUGHING....
I payed 4.8K for the travel and I was offered no better hospitality.....
This might be due to I compare it with King Fisher (which is the BEST fly I ever had)
I had no ear pains ... when in KF but in Indigo .. I faced problem with my ear pain!!!!
I am not finished yet... WAIT.... carefully note the following end of experience the last one -----
when we reached bangalore.... "again the sloggy announcement .. welcome to bangalore ... temperature is so and so.... ding dong! eh"
people were lined up with their luggage in a NON A/C compartment and waiting for EXIT////
exit doors were open after 5 mins where all people were standing like in a QUEUE.....
I was feeling when will I just get out of this flight........
Hope I have given you some hints of what it is to fly with Indigo.....
If you ask me its the same case with Indian Air Lines and Air Sahara... (and more over Air Sahara cost more than KF ? what reason I dont know)
any ways...
