Having read the numerous negative review about https://indiaplaza.in, I thought I should share my experience too. First of all the website is http://www.indiaplaza.in and not https://indiaplaza.com . https://indiaplaza.in is the Indian portal and indiaplaza.com is the US portal.
I have been shopping at https://indiaplaza.in for last 2 years. Have bought ipod, Sony Digicam and numerous books. So this review is based on multiple transactions with the site and not one transaction. So I believe the good and the bad averages experiences average out and the review can be trusted upon.
Pros
The prices are very competitive. Compared to market price( am talking about dealers and showrooms and not chor bazaar) the prices at this online mall is defintiely less. I had compared prices of Sony Digicam at ezone and local dealer and still found the price at indiaplaza cheaper. Books are definitely priced less than big stores like Starmark and Crossword. If you are looking for books yet to be lauched, u can prebook them at good price.
Delivery is usually dot on time. Over the years I have had only 2-3 experiences when the package was delivered later then promised date.
Good customer care service. I have always got a concrete answer from the customer care service for any of my queries. The fact that I had to call customer care only 2-3 times speaks for the service of the company. They will send you a sms on confirmation of payment by credit card again on delivery you will get a sms. If by any chance the delivery is delayed they send you a sms with the next probable date of delivery.
They sell wide variety of things. So while their product range is wide, the depth might be lacking for some goods. But even then I find their collection to be very decent.
Discounts can be crazy during sale period. Dont miss out the sale periods. Whole Tintin and Asterix collection at INR 13K. A discount of nearly 6K.
Cons.
Read the fine prints on their offers. 100% cash back offer was something that fooled me. I had to make purchase of INR 5000 to get 100% cash back. Having done that I got a gift voucher for INR 5000. But for that I had to make transactions of INR 20, 000. SHould have read the fine prints. Donot blame the company as I believe there is no free lunch.
Luxuary items are not available.
Overall I would defintiely recommend this site to people. Having transacted with number of other online shopping sites, I find this site to be most trustworthy.
