Poor contestants or the Ignorant Public???. Review on Indian Idol II

Should I pity the contestants or the ignorant Public ???

An appeal to change the voting method !!

Let me strongly announce that I am certainly a great fan of Amey. He was the complete package for Indian Idol II. However my dream along with the thousands of many more broke on 14th of March when Amey was voted out from the contest.

Let me question to the Producers/Sponsers how many of the audience and the public at large do they have the basis knowledge of singing. On what bases are the public voting. When it comes to such a crucial round I strongly believe that the decision should not lie with the audience but it should be with the renowned personalities from the Music industry who are in a better position to vote.

Not only Amey a very good contenstant was voted out but similarly Anthra too was wrongly voted out from the contest. Is gender discrimination done in any way ? Anthra too was among the top 3 good performers. I hope most of them will agree to my choice of the above two.

The decision of the Jury of not accepting the vote out is highly appreciated. I feel that such moves were to be made even when Anthra was voted out. There is no point in having the panel of judges when the ultimate decision lies with the ignorant public at large. This reality show is not a joke its worth more than a crore so does the one who reaches the crown really worth it ? No I dont think so. I hold that the decision should lie with the responsible knowlegable jury and not in the hands of Ignorant public.
