Why Ruin it?. Review on Indian Idol II

Indian Idol is a show I use to enjoy, it comes on Sony TV and I thought it was very interesting my two most favourite singers were Amey and Karuniya. But when Amey went out I slowly started losing respect for this show and seeing how they judge looks instead of singing. I was disappointed I wanted Karuniya and Amey to be in the final. But at least Karuniya was still there. But with who, a no good singer like Sandeep, He only got votes because he use to smile at the camera every time and act innocent.

What is Indian Idol?

Indian Idol is a talent show in search for talent where people audition to become the singer they always want to, There are two voting scheme, we first start of with the judges picking the top singers and then after that the judges steps down and only gives comments and allows the public to vote for there best singer until the final two. Each week someone gets knocked out and some people might call it an emotional roller coaster. Until there are two left that’s when we get a big show and find out who is Indians next star.

Goods and bad about Indian Idol

Good – The good thing about this show is that it allows to give people the platform to show there talent on stage to the whole world (if you are good enough)

Bad – The voting system can easily be cheated at, you can vote for someone 4-5 times if you want to, I think 1 vote per person is enough otherwise its cheating.

Did Indian Idol picked the wrong winner?

The jantha votes went to Sandeep but karuniya was the star of Indian Idol, Karuniya Performed classical songs, new songs, Rap, Bhangra, Quawali songs. Sandeep just sang Udit Naryan tracks. How can Jhantha vote for him? Well there is a reason there because of his parents and the community they stay in. Karuniya stays in the south of India where lots of people do not follow Indian idol.

The Voting system

This is one thing that is very bad, the jhantha do not know about who is the best singer the judges like Sonu and Anu Malik knows good talent and they always picked Karuniya as the best singer and there Indian Idol. Sandeep has been getting bad comments from the Judges for along time until the final where the judges knew he would win so they said good things about him. I think the judges should vote who is better they know more about music.

The Final Night (result night)

I was enjoying this Show until Abhijeet sang Rang de Basanti, He proved that fame went to his head and he forgot about his voice and went crazy for the public instead of singing the song correctly. He proved that fame does change people, his singing was not good at all and he became over confident because he was singing for nothing he had nothing to win. He already won his crown so why sing well? The night was ruined by the results and I was very disappointed Karuniya did not win,

Final Say

Do not enter yourself for Indian Idol 3 if it happens because good talents don’t get recognised here. I feel so sorry for Karuniya he was an amazing singer and if he release an album I will buy it. If Indian Idol voting was world wide Karuniya would win that I can say, but its shame. But don’t worry I am actually a little glad he did not get Indian Idol crown. Because after hearing Abhijeet, I know Sandeep will sound like that on Indian Idol 3 when he comes to perform all I can say is karuniya don’t worry it not that you don’t deserve Indian Idol its that Indian Idol don’t deserve you!
