I had ordered this for my mother's birthday:

You can take a look at the order that was delivered(pic attached with my review here). The cake has NO resemblance whatsoever with the pic of the cake they advertised on their website(weblink above). There were no real strawberry pieces on the cake that was delivered and the gross-lookingpink cake just looked like a CHEAP cake bought from Monginis or could have been even Jalojog for that matter! The horrible experience just did not end there.
I sent them an email explaining how upset & disappointed I was with their service and I got a reply: "Dear Customer, My pleasure if you like our service then please mention this on https://mouthshut.com." OMG! That shows they either don't know how to read English or they don't even care to read the emails from their customers.
So then I contacted them through the'Live Chat' option on their website. Whoever I was chatting with provided me with a cell phone # in India and asked me to send a Whatsapp message on that # from my US #! I asked for the refund for the cake, which would be 50% of the total money I had paid for this order.
Thus started a series of chat with this person, who claimed she headed the customer service division, but refused to give me her name and threw in a lot of attitude to begin with. Sounded extremely rude, unprofessional and frustrated with her job. Complained to me about being awake so late at night and that she needed to sleep! Well, I figured sleep was more important to her than serving her customers with priority so I let her sleep peacefully for 7 days, as she promised I would receive the refund back in to my account within 7 days.
When I waited for a week and contacted her again, as I didn't receive a penny back in my account, I was again given a false promise that "it would be resolved today". From that day, another 2 days passed and no results and NO REFUND! Finally I received the 50% refund on the day this review got posted on mouthshut.com.
In the meanwhile, their local vendor(who had actually delivered the order to the address) called my mother(the receiver of the gift) on her phone to negotiate and convince her to be happy with just another cake which they were willing to deliver to her again, so that they don't have to issue the refund to IGP. And the caller also mentioned to her to contact the vendor directly for any future orders, instead of going through IGP. I mean who does that?! I am so struck with wonder.still! Then again, once the refund was finally issued, that vendor had called my mother to inform her that the sender of the gift has asked for a 50% refund and that they are refunding that amount. What a "classy" customer service!
So these people are all about false promises & unprofessional customer service, to say the least!
PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY ORDERING GIFTS FOR YOUR LOVED ONES ON THIS PORTAL!
