I had recently purchased a Car Insurance Policy from ICICI Lombard through the net and call center , they have debited my credit card promptly.
They later rejected my application as they could not not have a satisfactory inspection. I am now continuously following up with them for a refund of the amount they debited to the card.
For every mail I send them as follow up I get a standard response that the refund is under process and the amount would be refunded in a weeks time. Three weeks have passed and I have not received my refund. They are willfully delaying the refund . It took them less than two minutes to debit my card but is taking them endless time for a refund.
I tried to log a complaint through their website also , they have created a bug in their system to ensure that your complaint cannot be submitted. This is a delibrate fraud and the worst consumer service one can expect . I have decided to boycott ICICI and ICICI Lombard in particular. I have also on a mission to spread this negative word about ICICI Lombard.
