The Best of the rest, If some one says ICICI Service is bad then think about others, they might be even worse.


Coming to mine, I purchased a Car in 2014 August 8th and was supposed to go for an SBI Insurance(as the loan was from SBI) but the Insurance Guy never bothered to reach me for the same and since it was a festival and the delivery was supposed to happen on that day I opted for ICICI(as all my 2 wheelers are insured with them),


The ease of Obtaining a Insurance is never so easy, one the day of registration, just over a call my Insurance was done and the copy was sent to the showroom for Registration Formalities(and I save about 5k in PRemium overthe show rooms offers) note it it was a B2B with 0% Depreciation with an Enhanced IDV.


I renewed the insurance with them within the time limit and met with the Accident, excatly after a Year and 1 month.


The Claim:


once the Accident took place the front portion was badly damaged, I called up the Helpline(ICICI LOMBARD) and informed them about the incident and they lodged a formal complaint and also assisted with the on Road assistance, and sent the towing people,


and issued a Claim # which was supposed to be quoted for the Claim, Luckily My Service Center had a Cashless facility with them. and the Towing ppl took the vehicle to the Service Center(Of My Choice) and left it, later I visited and my Service Manager assisted with the cliam documents and thats it, He sent a Quote to ICICI and they approved it and the vehicle was ready in 2 weeks time and the payment also was released to them. I was charged only 1.5k of claim charges and the Depreciation amount. Even the Service manager was happy that the process was smooth.


NOTE: I spoke to ICICI Customer Care only the the Accident Day to launch a Claim and intimate them, later everything was a very smooth process.


I Would go with ICICI Lombard on any Day just for their Simplicity

> Others Insurances, might be cheap but have suffered a lot in Claim Process(require huge Documentation/process)


>Simple and transparent process


> Cost wise - Best so far for the services offered.(Maximised IDV, 0% Depreciation, B2B, On Road assitance, Cashless Facility etc.)
