It is a bank managed by some bunch of goons. The stories are widespread about their notorious feats with poor customers.
I had a banking account with ICICI since 2000 when they opened a branch to serve my company employees in the remote area of Banagalore. After a couple of months some of my employee complained of Rs. 10 debit from their savings accounts. While enquiring with the customer care they could not get any satisfactory response. When we discussed with the branch manager he apologised and reversed the 10 bucks transaction for all the employees. Can you imagine a bank who can go to such an extent to get 10 bucks by cheating?
If you are not seeing your transaction statement with enough details, chances are that you might be swindled for a couple of bucks. They are very smart in looking at your profile and cheat you suitably. For the factory worker they target 10~20 bucks, but if you are holding a handsome amount in their bank, you would be down by a couple of thousands.
I could deal with them only to make good use of their network in all these days but now as the RBI regulations are more friendly with the banking cuatomers, any bank can provide you much better service than these bunch of acoundrels.
