I have been a customer of ICICI bank since last 8 years and I am seeing deterioration in their service standards year by year. They have goofed up with so many things during my interaction with them some of which include not updating my address, delivering cheque books to wrong address, giving me expired passwords etc., etc., . They have dug themselves a deep bureaucratic grave it is hard to imagine how they can win more new customers.
Even simple issues like getting a new login ID or password takes 8 days to resolve!!! I am on my way to ending my long association with this bank. If you are thinking about opening a new account go to HDFC or Axis or even any of our good old nationalised banks. They are getting better day by day and will sure beat private banks soon in customer satisfaction if banks like ICICI don't change their complacent attitude.
