The Tamil movie “I” a review.
Director Sanker’s masterpiece of direction, took over two years to complete, is indeed a mile stone in actor Vikram’s career. He has evidently put his heart and soul, even his physique as well. Given his age and stature it is an undeniable fact that he has stretched his powers as an actor, beyond the boundries and more importantly has emerged triumpent as none of his contemporaries may even dare to attempt.
Actor Vikram is known for his variety acting but this one is beyond imagination. He plays the role of Lingesan aka Lee, a body builder from a middle class family back ground, aspires to become a celebrated body builder and dreaming to become Mr.Tamil Nadu. he is obsessed with the beauty of Diya, a leading model. Lee later becomes a successful model. Later he was avenged by his rivals from different fields by injecting him with “I” influenza virus, which deforms his physique slowly. Onwards Lee happen to know the truth and take revenge on his rivals.
The spectacular songs of A.R Rahman, shot against the backdrop of stunning locations of China is no exception. And the camera work of P.C Sreeram is one of the finest points of the film
