New Concept = LoVe + FaNtaCy... Review on I See You

I See You is Arjun Rampal’s first chance with production hence, he has chosen a romantic film, but he tries to make it different by making it a romantic comedy with a** fantasy element.

The film revolves around a young man Casanova Raj Jaiswal(Arjun) who is the only person who is able to see this beautiful girlShivani **(Vipasha) who is in between life and death at this point and hence he is the only person who can help her with her problem. The film caters to a nex gen audience who is open to different cinema, with its own concept.

There are a few sweet and funny moments in the film but the overall picture is not captivating and engrossing enough. I See You is perhaps a time-pass film and needs to be watched with **no expectations.

Raj Jaiswal-is a Casanova anchor of a popular television show called ‘British Raj’. He charms all the ladies and has a way with women. But suddenly his life changes because of this one woman who comes into his life.

Shivani- is a young doctor who is currently in a comaafter an accident. She is in between life and death and her spirit is roaming around trying to find a solution to her problem. She is invisible to all except the Raj and she now has to convince him to help her out.

Akshay(Chunkey)- is Raj’s best friend and he is worried about Raj and his obsession about an invisible woman, so he seeks the help of a Shrink(Boman Irani).

Raj discovers that Shivani is lying in a coma due to a set up which was made to look like an accident and he unearths a deep scam where Shivani was made the target. Will Shivani come out of the coma; will she and Raj ever have a normal relationship?.IS THE BASIC STORY of this MOVIE

I See You has some good moments LikE,

# It has a number of light moments which manage to bring out laughter like Arjun being desperately pursued by Shivani, Chunkey Pandey’s antics, Boman Irani the shrink’s analysis etc.

# The look and style of the film has a very international and modern day appeal. Even the end although a bit unrealistic leaves you with a nice content feeling.

# The spl apperances by SRK and Hrithik Roshan lend a bit of a star touch to the film. The editing and length of the film too is kept in check and does not drag on.

# Arjun Ramal has the look and style and even his acting skills seem to have improved tremendously.

Inspite of all that.the movie has numerous FLAWS which can be spotted **easiely

# Newcomer Vipasha does not look convincing as the invisible doctor and at times her character often lacks excitment.

# The Climax is DAMN predictable.

# Sonali Kulkarni and Kirron Kher are wasted.no use of casting them.juz to increase the star cast

*On the whole:

I See You has a script that has several flaws. The unique concept too will not be appreciated by all audiences and the cast too does not posses ne of the big names except for the spl appearances.  It is just a light time pass film which entertains in bits and pieces.
