I purchased my i10 from ultimate Hyundai Panchkula about 3.5 years ago. I have driven it as also got driven it by a driver in the tricity of Chandigarh as also on highway between Chandigarh and Delhi, Chandigarh and Pathankot, Chandigarh and Amritsar, Chandigarh and Bathinda and in the Kangra hills i.e.Shiwalik ranges and beyond in Himachal Pradesh.
It has never given me any problem- nor has the dealer troubled me. I get everything done from the dealer only which is rather cheap as compared to the rogue mechanics in the open market. Previously I owned Daewoo Matiz and Premier Padmini and i10 is much better than them except for the ac which is better in Matiz rather the best in the small cars so far as Matiz and Matiz+ range goes.
I have specially noted the following positive features about this car:
1.No owner wants to sell his i10- please refer OLX etc.
2.There are about 15 car brands/variants in this price range but nobody stands the competition
3.Please visit Kangra-Palampur area and count the number of i10s there
4.In our housing society there are 310 flats and only i10 can boast of 10 members- there are Audis, BMWs Honda and it is the costliest place by all manners
5.The only nearest entry in the list is swift which is a dozen years old concept
6.Please compare the money spent on each car brand/variant by you and you are losing 10-11% on this every year. then consider which is the best car to have.
7.Don't go for a diesel car because it can never compensate you unless you are a mule used by your office or family and also note that diesel must get costlier to any extent once the general election 2014 is over-come who may.
8.The boot space is more than enough for a family of 3-5 members on a tour for a week.
9.The long-boy design is good for anyone 5'5" to 5'11".
10Travel to Delhi and compare how many other cars are dented as compared to i10.
