After a thorough research on all cars of smaller segment in new cars, I preferred & purchased Hyundai santro "XO" from tAccess Hyundai, Chennai, who has employed the most friendly, patient, quick & responsive people(found better than others)
Why santro? This is due to its trendy look, seating comfort (driver's & front seat), airconditioning(better & best than other cars) quality of material used interior and exterior are very close to good international standards, perfect ground clearance(lets the stray jimmies rest) driver view, service centers, existing users comments, discounts and a few extra free toppings. Plus, suits the city & highway roads.
I was interested for a ZEN but, I found it to be just a car for sake for that pricing. Im not so against of zen, but, there was no good reason to opt for zen. Zen's material on interiors and exteriors are of total compromise on quality, and didnt make me feel safe on the road at all, and so what if it is from maruti or suzuki, does not matter at all for me. May be the deprciation and waiting time to sell is less, thats not important at all for drivers seeking a safe drive and nice feeling..
Anything you choose, looks matters, though Wagon R has some plus but for that pricing, naa,,,forget it. I found lots of elderly people at the back seat going to beach walks or making trips to ortho hospitals.
I would recommend Santro "XO" not only to my friends and relatives but to anyone.
