I wanted a small vehicle which can run in the city and occasionally long drives, then I bought the Hyundai Eon Era+ it is perfect for my budget.
#Exterior
Front facade is devoid of front fog lamps, passenger side mirrors, full wheel covers, roof antenna and body coloured outside door handles. Hub caps are available in place of the full wheel covers along with body coloured front and rear bumpers. Chrome tip radiator grille around the nose flanked by swept back clear head lamps are fitted in the front. Rear gets sports integrated rear spoiler and clear tail lights.
#Interior(Features, Space & Comfort) It is a feature rich car. Very good interiors the moment you get it. It does not feel an entry level car at all. The features, the overall fit and finish, the quality really makes it a real winner.
# Engine & Transmission
Power comes from a 0.8 litre, three cylinder, 9 valves, SOHC petrol engine churning out pinnacle power of 56 PS at 5500 RPM and top torque of 7.6 kgm at 4000 RPM. A five-speed manual transmission is synchronized to the gasoline engine.
# Mileage
The petrol engine is very frugal in nature and is vouched to return 21 kmpl of fuel economy as per ARAI figures.
# Braking and Safety
front gets disc brakes and rear gets drum brakes. Important safety features such as anti-lock braking system and electronic brakeforce distribution are not available in the Eon line-up. ERA+ is also deprived of driver side airbag and key less entry. Secondary safety equipments like front & rear seat belts, child safety rear door locks, engine immobilizer, inside rear view mirror and central locking are proffered as standard fitments in the variant.
#Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality was much much better in the Eon. THe suspensions look to be made for Indian roads and really do their job. we were 4 people incuding the company staff at the TD. Two people at the rear felt Eon to have a better ride than the Alto. Also the space and comfort was more felt in Eon.

Good driving comfort, very smooth feather touch power steering, efficient and smooth break, excellent interior quality, good suspension, good design, improved gear shift compared to older versions, mileage above 20 kpl, good cupboard spaces, good boot space.
#Dislikes
A little noisy engine at bottom gears, Not suitable for hilly areas, little bit vibration on starting
#Areas of improvement
Minimum wheel size required is 155/80/R13.Engine to be improved to 998cc in all varients. please increase size in bottom because sometimes it gets banged down.
