Go for this car Straightway!!!!. Review on Hyundai Accent CRDi

Hello All,

I got my Accent ViVa CRDi( Both Accent CRDi and Accent Viva CRDi is same in terms of Engine specs) last month during diwali, though there was long waitlist, I manage to get this car on time. I did lotz of research before going for this car, I tried for all cars within this segment like ford, indigo/marina, Scorpio, I found major difference in performance of my Accent CRDi compare to conventional diesel engines, this is latest diesel technology with microprocessor guided fuel injection, fast pickup at low r.p.m, good mileage, low noise are few salient features of this fine art.

FUEL EFFICIENCY

Fuel efficiency is Superb. The car gives about 14 to 15 kmpl in the city with AC and about 17 to 18 kmpl on the highway!!!!!!!.

Note: this efficiency I am talking when I have not done any servicing and brand new vehicle on Indian roads and this will further improves

RIDE QUALITY

The Accent is designed to provide maximum comfort to a driver, like foot-rester, tilted steering, adjustable driver seats, back glass wiper internally operated mirrors, leather wrapped steering. You can dive this car into corners with aplomb. The steering has the right amount of power assist and you can dart into corners and make sudden lane changes with confidence though its not so soft as compare to Lancer / Scorpio. The brakes system is superb.

The suspensions are okey.

A.C is chilling,

Today I am driving Black color Viva (CRDi), though black color has good appeal, but this is my sincere advice not to go for black, as in Bangalore traffic and roads, if you bring freshly washed/serviced car on road, it takes mere 5 mins to get into rally shaped car, you can make out thick layer of dust with in 5-10 mins of drive on Bangalore roads, God knows what will happen in rainy seasons

Conclusion: Go for this car Straightway!!!!, but not for black

Cons:

a) Vehicle has bit of vibrations (this may go after 2 services)

b) Floor mats provided by Hyundai are of not good quality

c) No Schemes available for this car, (like Free Insurance, Discounts, Audio Systems, Tubeless Tyres, Seat covers. but only Mats L)

d)

Pros:

a) Value for money Good Mileage, petrol like performance

b) Normal servicing after 10k Kilometers, which is same as petrol engines

c) Elegant design (specially Viva version)

d) Good road grip
