Love. Probably many of you out there have experienced it in one or the other form. They say love happens. It can't be made to happen. It happens. Love is an infinite feeling. Strange but true, Love is a ubiquitous feeling.

As Helen Keller once said '' We could never learn to be brave and patient, if there were only joy in the world.''If you want to translate the above said into reality, just try & fall in love. Time will pass, pain will be your second best companion but if you will be strong the beauty of what you felt will surely remain. Talk about love, and you're directing towards endurance, patience, pain, & sorrow.

If it seems arduous for you to understand what I tried to reflect, we have a very good option. If you peruse the first stanza, I happen to quote that ''Love is an infinite feeling and is ubiquitous.'' Love is present everywhere. You just have to find it. And if destined, it shall happen to you.

This is exactly what happened to our protagonist of the movie. Salman Khan plays a music student who comes to India for extending his comprehension of music. As before, since this movie is a super success and umpteen mouths have mollycoddled the story, I would take the liberty to shy away from discussing the story.

So what happens next? What should we discuss? The pain or the euphoria? Aishwarya Rai playing ''Nandini'' creates torrential shower of elation in Salman's heart. (In the movie too) The depiction of the cropping of love is purely marvelous. You can relate to each & every scene of their growing reverence. Should I use the word Reverence? I am perplexed. But we shall talk about this in the end. Love grows. Love takes the form of a stone which enjoys the cool breeze in the vicinity of a beach but at the same time undercurrents rush with full force onto it and shakes it position. The scenes were gradually presented, as they should be. There were no scenes that could not be digested by the audience. There was no need to do so.

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was very clear about what he wanted to show. Add to this all the grandeur of the sets, Aishwarya's Costume and fabulous music. Costumes of Aishwarya were top class & anyone who gazed at her for even a whisker of a second was not able to turn his eyes away from the green-eyed damsel. One already started to experience a birth of a fresh, pulchritudinous and vivacious esthete. Such magnificent effect was created by the conflated effort of cinematographer, director, Art director and Music Director.

Love traveled. It had to. It could not stay for the traditions were there as an iceberg in the journey of this Love Ship. Circumstances forced Salman to go back to Italy, with an intensely nostalgic heart that had just one name written all over it-- Nandini. This made way for Ajay Devganto sit on the Hot seat and do the honors. This national Award winner actor didn't leave any leaf unturned. He showed his innate wisdom and sensitivity in his share of acting. Playing the role of an Advocate ''Vanraj'', he endeavors to be a perfect husband. His character elicits great emotion. This character of his shows how love, although hurting, can be a strong reason to do tasks that are the next impossible thing for one to do.

Sacrifice is probably the second name of Love. As Richard Bachsaid,'' If you love something, set it free; if it comes backs it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was.''Vanraj applied this principle to his love. He strangulates his true love in one serene yet palpitating corner of his heart. Watch the word ''Strangulates.'' It's not easy to strangulate one's true feeling, as it seems to be. At this moment, I have just one quotation to share with you--

''Who do you turn to when the only person

in the world that can stop you from crying,

is exactly the one making you cry?''

Exactly same situations arise in the lives of three people. How they come out of it, What happens exactly, Who wins--Love or Sacrifice? Even if one of them wins, isn't it unfair for the other? All such questions do arise in mind but to be able to satiate your queries, don’t wait for this review to complete. Just grab a copy of DVD and see for yourself.

Acting

Aishwarya Rai:This lulu continues to dig more and more place in the hearts of her audience as the movie progresses. She has acted so well. She was looking a stunner in all phases of the movie. You can actually feel what she was feeling throughout the length of the movie. Her acting was that of the cadre of a virtuoso. She embosses a permanent impression in your heart. The more said about her divine beauty, the miniscule it seems to be.

Ajay Devgan : His sensitivity immersed with simplicity in acting makes him a great actor on screen. He will be always remembered for his magnificent acting and I wonder if anyone else could better justify the role he played than he did. He was calm, serene, love struck yet the maturity with which he consummates the role, makes the movie worth watching again & again. He rules.

Salman Khan: With his wonderful smile and great physique, he definitely steals the show. For me, he played his role much better than expected. He was absorbed into the role right from the beginning of the movie. He showcased his acting talents with full honesty & perseverance and was able to call forth sparkling accolades for himself. The scene where he is rejected by Aish towards the apogee of the movie can't help but induce tears from the eyes of audiences. Such is the splendor of his acting. He shows that in spite of dropping his shirt at the blink of a second, he does possess a great reservoir of acting and understanding of cinema. Both Ajay & Salman complemented each other well but I think the last scene where Salman drives up great emotion into the screen is a steal away shot and I take the liberty of awarding him that extra point for that one. Salman was and is here to rule.

One can't forget the exceptional symphony created by Music Maestro Ismail Darbar who has radiated through his extremely pleasant music. All the songs are top class and the inclusion of Classical Music; Chorus and selection of singers are also a jewel in the crown. Fantastic background music embraces the well-laid script and makes this movie a wonder.

Few movies try and bring the true color of their script. HDDCS is one of them. Love--this word has been spoilt, commercialized and construed a new obnoxious meaning in new times. By such movie, we come to know that Love is as pure as ever. To feel love is to feel God. Though the by products of love are in the form of agony, patience and tears, still humans find a way out of the love maze and decide as to what true love is. That of course takes time. As it is love is infinite. Love is a language spoken by everyone, but understood only by a heart. So it takes time. On an ending note, what I understood can be put as :

''All, everything that I understand, I understand only because I love.''

~ Leo Tolstoy ~
