I have bought stuff from Housefull which have been really amazing . The cost is a lot cheaper compared to @home and hometown etc. Hometown has horrible products which look ugly and cost more.
Anyways, the delivery has been prompt in my case so far. I didnt have any issue with online booking or at store and luckily I didnt have issues for 2 years after purchasing the furniture.
The issue is with management. It's not streamlined and there are no SLAs. The company runs on the goodwill of few employees who probably will have ulcer with all the workload and scoldings from customers :
1) They use each others email IDs and the customer care email mentioned on their site doesn't work ( example , priyanka.shetty@ housfull.com was used by Jagruti after Priyanka left the job !)
2) There is no automated intimation on status of the complain or refund in my case and I had to call up some 1000 times on their STD Mumbai number. They don't raise complaint numbers, so you explain your issue over and over again.T
here is no ownership or process making anyone responsible for handling the complaints. It floats in the name of god and probably never gets resolved unless you are pushy and take it up to consumer court or find the numbers of managers by chance . I got the numbers of few people in consumer court forums and on the net and if they leave Housefull , I wont get money back! (Anand - 8108151800) . Not mentioning the numbers of others as they were utter waste of time
Overall, in-spite of the issue with the customer support, I may shop here again for the products and the price. Be very careful though and get all right contacts before purchasing so that you don't have to chase the customer care.
