Microsoft's new email service has been given the name Outlook and that's where the existing Hotmail accounts go.

So, its Outlook mail now.

Speed Impression

Better as compared to Yahoo but slower than Gmail.

Interface

Outlook has an interface which is different from both Gmail and Yahoomail. To me, it looks more of a professional thing when I log into Outlook.

The left panel folders with search option at top, Skype sign in, notifications & settings icon at top right, new email link at the left corner of center portion, everything seems to be in the right place, occupies the least of space and gives you that clean look. What is necessary is visible, and more options appear as and when they are needed. There is no clutter in the left panel as we have with Yahoo & Gmail.

Ads don't appear initially but after few minutes I usually see 3 little Ads on the right side. That's worse than even Yahoo.

A New Feature(which I thought might be useful in case you haven't noticed it yet)

This is a feature that lets you keep your important email(s) right at the top of its folder. You can select multiple emails and they will go to the top in order of selection. Its rightmost of the 4 icons which appear when you just move your mouse across selected/highlighted email.

Integration with other Microsoft's services like OneDrive, Office, Skype, Bing Search, MSN personalizations is a plus just like Gmail integrates with google services.

Email Attachments

Outlook supports upto 20MB of those while Yahoo & Gmail  support upto 25MB.

Overall, I would rate it better than Yahoo & next to Gmail.
