We booked at Surya coz it had a ''Honeymoon Suite '' and we were on our honeymoon . It is close to the main mall but you need to climb and climb and climb to get there .
The good thing about the climbing is that it we always had a huge apetite at the end of the day and Surya has a very good restaurant . When you step out of the elevator you are right in the middle of the restaurant .That was unusual and very charming .
Our room was large and well kept .It had a big mirror on the ceiling just above the king sized bed .That probably gave it the HONEYMOON SUITE Status . The view is ordinary from the hotel room but the views from the main mall more than compensate for that .
All in all, we loved Shimla and Surya and though we have stayed in much more expensive and grand places over the years we still have the best memories of our honeymoon there .
