This city is truly Asia's world city. A city country which has people from all over the world based in here. One of the world's biggest trading centres & ports of the world. Very convenient transportation systems in the form of MRT - underground trains, buses & trams. You have the convenience of using the Octopus card which is a prepaid smart card accepted in all government public transport modes.
The city can be covered well in 2 days. Start with the Bank of China Tower, HSBC Bank complex, St John's cathedral. Proceed to Victoria Peak, enjoy a bird's eye view of the city, see the Madam Tussaud's museum and head to Stanley Market. Vendors are predominantly Chinese and have a wide range of merchandise. For those of you who love to bargain, Stanley market is the place to go to.
Head back towards the Queen's pier and enjoy a Dragon Cruise trip which lasts for about 2 hours. Excellent food & beverages served [cost is included in the cruise ticket]. The cruise has a wonderful band that plays music and allows you to make your own requests as well. Around the Star & Queen's pier, there are many shopping malls with value for money stuff. Take a trip to the Disney park to see the smiles on your family's faces.
