When I initially thought of migrating from Alto which is available for 7 years to a sedan the immediate vehicles came to my mind was SX4 and I somehow liked it. The second preference was Hyundai Verna. After test riding both I felt Verna was more superior than SX4 and too my luck both the cars had restrictions on model and car availability. I didnt want to buy a colour which I was not comfortable so I decided to wait for some more time till the stocks are back for the dealer. That is when one of my friend suggested Honda Jazz and Fiat Punto.
So Called up Honda guys for a Test ride. The first ride I took it changed my perception of luxury. This car was so cool as it was looking like a small car from the outside but the interiors gave a completely different picture. It was more spacious. It was more smooth. It was more sporty. I felt the car was more spacious in the inside than Honda city.
Engine sound is something unbeatable. Its more silent. The clutch and gear box is unbeatable in its smooth operation.
Even though it was expensive but just couldn't take my eyes of the car. The bonet is very very small. Aerodynamically designed and the car gives an impression of sitting on the cockpit of a flight. The sales guys also treated us like a royal guest unlike the maruti and hyundai service guys wherein each piece of information we have to ask for.
We are just going gaga over the new vehicle.
Few updates,
Have been to a long trip 400+ kms and found that body is very sturdy even in rough road conditions. My family seated at back seat said they hardly felt any shakes and the drive was very very smooth.
One major problem is that incase you switch on music(mild sound also will do) and up your glass windows then the external sounds(honking, ambulance etc) cant be heard. I choose to name it as a problem because once happen to be at signal and found that everyone was making way for an ambulance and I didnt as I never heard the siren sound.
Good mileage of around 14+ km/pl
There were many compliments from my friends about its neat and clean dashboard.
