Bought this 2 wheeler on 28th July 2016 and the reason of it being a 125 one was definitely the urge of more power under the best 2 wheeler brand. It had to be an Activa only as it is the market leader and the most loved and trusted brand in India.
For the first 25 days, I somehow kept the speedometer at 50Kmph only(as advised by the showroom people) as I was told not to cruize above 50Kmph until the meter reaches at least 750 kms. However it is also bumpy over speed breakers.
BEFORE 1st SERVICE EXPERIENCE:
Engine was super zippy from the 1st startup. Pickup is awesome. Scooter runs super smooth under 50 Kmph. Mileage was 35-38 kmph.
I rode a lot and my meter touched 850 kms. in just 25 days and I handed it over for the first servicing.
AFTER 1st SERVIC EXPERIENCE:
After 1st service and Oil change, I took my scooter at the speeds above 50 kmph and this time I throttled to a max of 80 kmph which was amazing as I weigh 110 kgs. When you accelerate, it just boosts up powerfully, however, it vibrates a bit when you throttle as soon as you throttle above 50. Under or upto 50, it cruises like butter.
Electric start is also good and responsive.
For best results I personally use Power or Extra Premium petro, a premium engine oil and use Nitrogen in tyres instead of air.
Overall, would recommend Activa 125 only to each and everyone who is willing to buy a two wheeler.COMPLETE PACKAGE!
