I have bought Honda active Honda Activa Scooter 2011 model 125 CC in may 2011 for Rs. 58, 000/ with extra fittings of front box, seat cover, ladies stand, steel bent etc. This was one of the excellent choose of two wheeler because:

I have received four free services after buying in 2011, the service is one of the best Honda offers with high quality technicians. Paid services also very cheap with technicians will change only required parts/ if oil change is must. My service cost never exceed Rs900 any time and sometimes Rs 600/ for a service. If you buy Honda, you will get service everywhere in India with same quality. Now AMC(Annual Maintenances Cost method)also available for Honda buyers. This is also very good with no labour charges and 10% discount on parts/fuel cost and only you need to pay Rs. 700/one time for book. This also reduces the cost. The service centres also offers pre-booking facility and also offers Sunday booking facility.
I never had problem with Honda services but one time I serviced in local workshop, he charged Rs 1700/ and changed lots of parts/ and he cheated me by charging higher amount and also not done good works. It was foolish idea that I went with a local guy and because of his water wash, my auto start was not working. The local guy was telling me, battery is down and it need to change. I went and approached Mansasarovar Honda in Chennai, and met the techcain and he told me that because of water wash, its not working. They serviced it along with my normal service and I never experienced a problem with auto start. So kindly, don’t give your vehicle to a local man for services. The parts are so cheap at Honda showroom, and I never had any issue and all services I done in every 4 months of after running 2000 kilometres.
The most advantages of the Activa is high storage space we can store in front box, in front space where you keep your legs and under the seat. Then you can hang your luggage in handle. I never hired an auto when I buy provisions with 2-3 cover. So we can save the cost of transportation also. The next most is my 2.6 year old daughter also travel with me alone without her mom. She will stand in front foot path or may sit in front of me.
